Left Behind: Eternal Forces

January 6, 2006 – 9:11 pm | by Bill

I just saw the third movie in the Left Behind series, entitled “Left Behind: World at War“, the other day. It was ok, I would’ve liked some more action in the movie though, but I think that will be coming in the next one. I think this movie was just setting the stage for the next one.

There is actually a video game based on the Left Behind series as well. This really appeals to me, not sure why. Here is a screenshot of the game, it appears to be a real time stategy game. I heard a rumor that pre-orders are available. I will have to check it out, but I wouldn’t mind playing a demo first.. :)

the game looks good but the movie looks dumb.

mind you…I’ve never heard of the Left Behind series, so maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about?

The last movie World At War I thought was ok but it strayed way too far from the books, They should not have messed with the story lines like they did and because I am such a die hard fan of the series I was disapointed in the third movie. But Now we have a Video Game. Real Time Strategy is the way to go with this. I have Pre-Ordered it and paid in full to be the first one to get it in April through EB Games. It cost Fifty Dollars but it is said to have the most realistic city scapes of any video game ever. The Detailing is so awesome. I have downloaded the trailer. It don’t really show anything of the game though and was nice but a little ditzy. I wanted to see what I had bought not a advertisement with no real content about the game but it was pretty. The angels flying and all. The words Pig In A Poke Come to mind and I hope I won’t be disapointed. But there are a lot worse things I could blow fifty dollars on so I am not that worried. Left Behind (The Books) have entertained me so much that if it does turn out to be a dud then I have just given LaHaye and Jenkins a Few Extra bucks for all the great novels they have given to me at a very affordable price. Not to mention Movies 1 and 2 of the series. Just my two and a half Nicks Worth.

There has been in incredible amount of MISINFORMATION published in the media and in online blogs here and elsewhere.

Pacifist Christians and other groups are taking the game material out of context to support their own causes. There is NO “killing in the name of God” and NO “convert or die”. There are NO “negative portrayals of Muslims” and there are NO “points for killing”.

Please play the game demo for yourself (to at least level 5 of 40) to get an accurate perspective, or listen to what CREDIBLE unbiased experts are saying after reviewing the game at

Then, we’d love to hear your feedback as an informed player.

The reality is that we’re receiving reports everyday of how this game is positively affecting lives by all who play it.
